The body at least served in the pacific theatre with the New Zealand Air Force, as it has RNZAF drilled into the side which they only did in theatre to try and discourage theft by other services. It has early MB guards with no holes for side driving light, and hood with air dam, also the seats are early type. Sanding back the paint on the hood revealed the USA hood number painted in light blue. The mixture of early & later parts along with all the non matching numbers would suggest she has been through one or more rebuilds either in N.Z. or overseas.
