It was one of 500 or so built from surplus MB frames.
I restored it as a WWII Jeep in honor of my uncle Sgt Harold Parnell
who was killed in action during the battle of Fonduk Pass in Tunisia on 15 Apr 1943.
All the marking on the jeep are from his unit. 34ID, 135 IR company D.
His nickname was Sonny and that is on the lower windshield frame.
