An army test mule for the 4-wheel steering of standardized jeeps. Prototypes of a four-wheel-steer jeep were tested by the U.S. Army during World War II, but the project was canceled due to budget constraints and the military's preference for standardization. Though the tests were successful in demonstrating the technology's advantages, jeep did not release a production model with four-wheel steering.
