The jeep was purchased in Hawthorne California in 1995, brought to UK and restored by myself and is in constant use. It has a willys pattern (not U section frame ) and scripted "FORD" back panel,early grill with no indent in the middle The tub has never been off the frame and still has it's locking tabs in place. Over 90% of the nuts, bolts, fittings, and fixtures are "F" stamped,brass windshield catches and including 6 out of the 8 brake shoes.
It has now got two stable mates, a slat grill MB and a 43 MB that was ex Greek army, with interesting Korean history. Plus a Royal Enfield Flying Flea, two parabikes, and a Mercury Army cycle. I think I will call a halt now to the crazy collecting. !!
