GPW 53609
My grandfather (Wolfram Eberhard) bought this jeep from another UC Berkeley professor around 1966. He used it as a ranch jeep until around 1977, when he passed it on to his son (my uncle) who moved it to New York and used it for work and hunting. I had it shipped back to California in 1992, and have done extensive drivetrain rebuilding to get it running again. It is still painted red, the color it was when my grandfather bought it.
