GPW 70355

I recently purchased this GPW from a local guy who did a little of the resto work on it, but just did'nt seem to have the time anymore(2000). This was as far as he got since buying it in 1972. I saw it parked in his driveway while on patrol (cop), stopped one day and asked if he wanted to sell it, as I was into WW2 re-enacting. To my delight - 6 months and $1,500.00 later it was mine. I love it! I can't find the other numbers yet, but it runs, and only has some rust on the floor board and under the body. Well, stage two - working on refurbishing the jeep, will take a new picture when I get the chance. (2004) New picture in in the URL link - it's all done except some minor starting trouble.(JULY 2005) Got it running in 2005, played with it until 2008. Divorce made it sit in friends back yard for a year. Lots of work to do and no funds kept it sitting until 2010. I removed body, to do frame off restoration. It is currently in pieces until done. 2015.
