MB 363491

This vehicle passed into the hands of the French army after the War and saw service with thier Military Police. She was shipped to the UK in 1978 after many years in storage and sold to the last owner in 1983. I acquired her in April 2001 and have had to do very little to get her looking something like good. Just a new carb, new ignition and a few cosmetic improvements (paint etc) Unfortunately the last owner was a touch 'ham-fisted' so their are a few bent panels which are slowly being replaced. The first was the front bumper which was fairly mangled. I run the Jeep with a 1953 Sankey trailer of British army origin. Not the real thing I know but it looks quite good. 'Pearl', as she is now called, is designated as a USAAF vehicle assigned to 323 battle group, 412 bomber squadron who flew B25's out of Diss, Norfolk.
