I found this Ford GPW at a salvage yard on May 1st,2001. (DOD is a best guess). It's MB eng. was pulled out of the frame and tossed, stripped in the rear. The rest of this jeep was in rough shape. Hood no# 20213553-S was found under red brushed-on paint. Last on the road Nov.'86. Gave the yardmaster $50 for her. Found a bullet hole at the shovel-head panel. May '02: I had to come to the reality that this GPW frame & body was truly shot... another sad affair. Will save all salvageable Ford parts for a future GPW project. May 28th 2003: Lloyd White e-mailed me with proper DOD of January 11th, 1943 for this GPW. Thanks Lloyd!
