Some history known so far: sold by Ministry of Supply (?)(UK) on 19/11/58 and registered in Jersey in 1959; British Forces no M5826874 and WD no. 93 YH 31; Mainly Ford parts but a Willys cylinder head. At some stage it was used by a deck chair beach concessionaire in Jersey in the 1960s and was painted blue and yellow. Apparently was found in the garden of a well known local school teacher (I think by the person who bought it in or around 1972 and restored it as a young man). It remained in that person's ownership for some 18 years or so and it made at least one trip to the D Day Landings beaches on the 30th Anniversary in 1974. Passed through 2 other Jersey owners before me when I bought it in 2001. Nickname "Grumpy Too!"
