My data plates are missing. After inquiry, I found out the following: MB204893 built on Jan.20,1943. Hood # should be near 20254675. Will update as hood is stripped. UPDATE: 12/02 Frame is sandblasted and painted. Bumper and gussets are replaced Tnx to Jeepguy's website, thanks Ren! Decided tub is toast...purchased new one from Bensinger. Leaf Springs and Axles now installed. Soon it will be back on wheels!! Brakes Complete! 7/05/03 4 Original Combat Wheels assembled on new NDT's and mounted! Steering Box Rebuilt and Installed 7/14/03 Jeep rolled out of garage for first time since 6/2002! Transmission disassembled, a real mess!! 7/30/03. 10/03: All new guts in the T-84! Special thanks to ZiggyO for his help in assembly! All new guts in the Dana 18 T-Case! Decided the repo body will only be temporary.. the resto on the original will happen AFTER Im on the road. 11/04 Carburetor Generator, Distributor rebuild. Engine should be back from the shop this week. All is right with the world. 04/21/05 Engine is remated with the frame and the next step is wiring, and then maybe even the body! Woo Hoo!! Ok, Had some tranny shifting troubles, had to disassemble. reassemble. All seems good. New Radiator and assorted parts. Rebuilt distributor and other small parts. 4/08/06: Body has been fitted, drilled, removed, sandblasted, primed and painted. Wiring harness installed in 3/06. Fuel lines and remating to the frame happens this week. (Maybe itll even run!) Friday, 4/18/06, I will have had this vehicle for 5 years. Wow. I thought I could rebuild it in mere months. Ha! Saturday, 5/19/07, Drove for first time. Wow, this sure did take me a long time! But Worth it! Much progress over the last year. Special thanks to Ivan, Dario, and Russ for their help! Woo Hoo! MB 204893 is ALIVE AGAIN! 3/2012 Been driving for several years now.. Decided it's time to get the old tub fixed. Took it off the pallet and removed all the little crap that was left on it when I shelved it. Heading to the sandblaster soon. Starting to get enthusiastic about redoing this tub. Looking forward to replacing the MDJuan body with the original Willys Body again.
