GPW 265522
Purchased from Olympia, WA in January 2002 over eBay. Original data plates match frame serial number but tub was beyond saving due to modifications made by prior owner and rust. Restoration was completed in October 2002 using a BEMAK reproduction body from Daryl Bensinger. An original GPW engine was found and rebuilt to replace the Willys M-38 block engine that was in the jeep when purchased.
