GPW 93793

I sold the GPW on 12-31-05. Under restoration. Date of delivery is from the data plate. Plate is stamped "GPW 93793" and has "Ford" logo at top. Servicing Organization is Quartermaster Corps. I sanded both sides of the hood and found no number. Mr. Jim Gilmore told me that the records for this jeep no longer exist. I plan on using 20202125 as my estimated hood number. Numerous "F" marked parts. KS speedo. The front axle has Rzeppa joint on passenger side and Tracta joint on the driver's side. I have nicknamed my GPW "Butch" Updated 10-1-03 The chasis is finished and up on wheels. 10-04 Working on the body tub. Terrible shape. I have a lot of welding and grinding ahead of me. Found "GPW" and F mark on the floor at the transmission/transfer hump. 12-04
