Purchased in 1996 from an individual in the Suffolk, Virginia area. Appears to have been junked by a rural fire department. Last State safety inspection sticker was 1987. Had an older-appearing curved hardtop mounted on it. Had an M38 windshield assembly. No original front or rear bumpers. Did have original drivers seat frame and rear footrest brackets. Did have radio filtrette under dashboard. Grill, fenders, and hood were original and in fair condition. Had a replacement gas tank. It had no combat wheels and no original gages. The replacement M38 unnumbered engine and M38 windshield assembly were probably obtained free of charge by the local agency from Virginia's federal surplus warehouse several decades ago. Am accumulating parts for restoration as of November, 2002.
