This Early named "Sandy" was purchased in June 1999 and the restoration was completed in July 2002. This is a Slat Grill MB with square gas sump, no glove box and Willys script on rear panel. Although it run with a post-war motor, it has Pancake AC air filter, -/+ 30A ammeter, (Gas) gauge, Tiger Eye reflectors. The windshield is a later model, a fire extinguisher Pyrene is mounted inside the right side of the body and a decontaminator M2 Fyr-Fyter is also mounted on the right fender. Some of MWO were applied : BO driving lamp (Early guard type), rear panel reinforcement (original mounting), Jerrycan holder. The nomenclature plate was missing, so the S/N and DOD (day missing) were found on French Army Title. The Register Number is a guess based on AAW. Painted in O.D. with 1944-ETO markings (3rd Inf.Div./ 41st Field Art. Bn. ). September 2003.
