I received the 42 GPW last month,(March 12th), the Jeep was owned by my brother who got it the mid 60"s. In 1974 he was killed and the GPW was put into storage. Prior to being place into storage the engine was rebuilt. My Nephew attempted to fix it up but quit after dismantling it. the jeeps name is "Buster" It has several bullet holes in the side (rear quarter panel, plus a BIG bullet hole in the front behind the drivers side fender(a 50 cal. bullet fits perfect in the hole) I am still a novice about the Jeep but I am learning more and more thanks to all of those folks on the G503 message board and Ron Fitzpatrick.
