This jeep was finished in November 2003. Or I should say that someone finished for me. Daryl Bensinger of DL Bensinger did a great job for me in restoring this jeep. I have had it back in the shop a few times since she has been completed. The story is that it was an MP marked jeep in California during the war and bought at a government auction in 1950 by the previous owners father. It was driven across the country and ended up in Michigan. I purchased it in December of 2002 and had it shipped to me in Pennsylvania. While I do not want a factory restored jeep, I hope to have it looking like a jeep you would find in the ETO, less the blue drab number which look cool to me.
