MB 231751

First civilian registration 1947, originated from the North of England. Missing quite a bit of the original fittings, and holes wealded up.On stripping the paint it had "No Hand Signals Left Hand Drive" across the rear panel where the spare wheel carrier should have been. Also has two holes on the dash which I am told would have been for a British Army data plate. No holes for a shipping plate. Can anyone supply me with any further info on this jeep. Jeep has now been restored with all the missing parts replaced also quite a bit of the orginal parts replaced due to rot/not working. Engine replaced due to failure and transmission rebuilt.
