Willys MB 431850
The date stamped on the data plates is 7/20/42 but due to the serial number, I believe these were replaced at some point and stamped with a year of 42. The serial number seems consistant with a 45 dated jeep. The Reg number was on the hood under a lot of paint, not sure if it is original or not. I was told that this may have been a depot rebuild with a 42 body put on a 45 frame. It is marked for a jeep of the 505th Parachue Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division.
