This '43 is my second GPW purchased off e-Bay in February 2003 with matching frame and data plate numbers. The frame is pretty much unmolested and the tub has some minor rusty areas. The engine is from an M-38 but I alread have a running original GPW engine in my possession that will eventually be installed in this jeep.
My first GPW, SN #265522 was a '45 which was purchased in January 2002, restoration completed October 2002 using a BEMAK repro body as the original tub was beyond repair.
