THIS JEEP WAS BOUGHT BY ME IN 2002.MY WIFE TWO BOYS & CAMPING GEAR ALL TRAVELLED TO NORMANDY IN IT THAT YEAR,NINE HOURS DRIVING AT 35-40MPH. ON RETURN I FOUND THAT THE ENGINE HAD HAD NO WORK ON IT BY THE PREVIOUS KEEPER WHO HAD HAD THE JEEP 30 YEARS & HAD COVERED ONLY APPROX 20 MILES IN IT TOTAL.THE ENGINE WAS REBIULT BY MYSELF & HAS BEEN TO NORMANDY TWICE SINCE, NO TROUBLE,WE HAVE TRAVELED ALL OVER IT THE LITTLE GREEN SWEETIE ,& DONE THE BELGIUM MILITARY WINTER RALLY MORE THAN ONCE,CRACKING BELGIUM CONTRYISDE IN THE SNOW THE BODY IS STILL ORIGINAL I KNOW AS IT WAS A BARN FIND BY THE ORGINAL OWNER.THIS JEEP WAS ORIGINALY BOUGHT FROM A DISPESAL SALE NEAR YORK ON JUNE 14 1946,THE OTHER WILLYS JEEP I HAVE CAME FROM THE SAME SALE,THEY MAKE A NICE PAIR
