When purchaced in 1985 the jeep had been sandblasted and primed in red oxide which preserved the body well but the markings had been lost.A brass plate fitted to the dash indicated service in the Australian Military.The jeep had been purchaced reconditioned ex US stock in late 1944 and issued to Northern Command of Australian Army.A right hand drive kit had been fitted (since removed) and a few minor mods done by the Australian Army.My wife and I enjoy using our jeep on military parades and club outings.
