GPW 97250

Jeep was bought at War & Peace show in 2002 having been shipped over from USA in February 2002. Is undergoing complete restoration at present. Serial number is listed in The Standardised WWII Jeep book which confirms delivery date. The Jeep is very solid and complete with many original parts and appears not to have been restored previously although colours vary from different shades of green to red to grey. Possibly a USN Jeep in the past. Also has an interesting power take-off on the gear box which I think comes from an amphijeep. (Propeller shaft ???) Engine was changed in 1955 with a re-build engine from the US Ordnance Depot as indicated on brass plate on engine.
