This jeep is a Marine Corps/Navy contract jeep, unrestored and original. When the jeep was used by the Marine Corps, it was equipped with a M48 dash mount and M31C pedestal mount. Engine is factory installed (engine cast date: 4-20; head cast date: 4-26). I'm the 4th owner of this jeep. The 2nd owner found it in Westmoreland, California, and traded it to the person in Bradbury, California, whom I purchased it from. There are 2 names painted on the front of the windshield: The name is STRAGGLER, painted under the name, ENGAGEMENT.
