The picture shown is of the Jeep at Pegagus Bridge in Normandy during the 60th anniversary of 'D' day. It is marked with its original British sensus No.M6133435-S.This jeep was part of 'lend lease' and was issued to the British Army. Originally it would have carried the US No.20230828 Following the war it was issued with the British Army registration No.99 YH 52. It was then sold out of service in October 1949, being first registered as civilian vehicle on 1.11.49, No. unknown. The DVLA V5 says 6 previous owners. No history is known of its war time service or untill I purchased it in 2000. Any information would be very useful.
