GPW 56454

the jeep has been in my family for many years.my granfather used to use it as a beach buggy for fishing. I am currently working on it for use as a runabout. i might restore it years down the road but right now it runs well and i am trying not to modify it to much to be able to use it now. cant make out the hood numbers and there appears to be some bullet holes in it, but i am not sure probably just some upset hunter.i am just getting started on it so i still have to search for other numbers such as the frame and engine.
