MB 130683

I purchased this jeep in 1990 from a farmer. The data plate that came with the jeep is in Russian and can be viewed at my website. The original drivetrain still functions quite well. The jeep retains the original WILLYS script body with glove box. It does have evidence of 3 bullets that travelled through the body entering the right cowl and tearing through the glovebox and dash and exiting the rear panel. These were welded up at some point but the old wounds are still visible. Battle damage or hunter damage? Who can say for sure? The frame number was obliterated by welding. The current hood number is an estimate. The battered hood that came with the jeep had a hood number of 20246047. Apparently it is off of a later MB.
