MB 104274

This Jeep came from the Austrian Army. It is currently under restauration and will be completed in 2003. The early frame is lacking the features it should have but the entire Jeep is the usual mix. It came with a M 201 engine which I now replaced with a WILLYS engine, although it has a number unknown to me, stamped over the water pump beginning RJX followed by a 6 digit number..CJ? Anyone out there having an idea what kind of engine that might be ? The body is CB. Again, the USA number is stamped in above the fuelfilter like I have seen on other ex Austrian Army Jeeps. (will update number and body number later). This vehicle was converted to a driving instruction vehicle with dual padal gear with clutch and brake padals also on the passenger side. I initially intended to keep it, but have now restored the body to the original condition...The DoD is a guestimate, 104065 being confirmed as 12-15-41 and 104589 as 12-17-41...
