Ford GPW 247369
Well, this is not my frame, but I could not resist in submitting the picture to G503! Either someone was drunk at the Ford plant, or, as the frames were stamped AFTER the engine was installed and the frame got the respective engine number then stamped...something was wrong with engine 247367...then a second try with 24737X...and finally 247369.
Well done folks !
I have never seen such a funny frame marking / number. Can anyone shed some light on it or has seen a similar tell tale number ? At least the two previously stamped numbers got crossed out !
The frame is used for a GPW restoration in Germany.
