GPW 184290

This jeep started out as a 1945 gpw. It was given to me by my father in law just before he passed away. The 1945 frame was a mess they had cut welded attached and drilled all over it along with putting a Buick 225 V6 power train in it. I looked around and found a MB engine out of a 1944 GPW along with the T84 transmission and transfer case to replace the V6 and CJ T90 and transfer case that was in it. The first frame on that GPW was as bad or worse than the 45s frame. My cousin found another 1944 GPW in Idaho and was parting it out when he called and told me about the frame. I purchased it from him and replaced the 45 frame with it. It made it drive much better and felt a whole lot solid.
