I bought this Willys MB in November 2003 from a local guy here in the greater Seattle area. It wasn't for sale, but I offered him $800, and he took it. It actually ran, which was surprising. He also threw in a 43' MB that had been sitting under a blackberry bush for about 25 years. The 43' was totally rusted up, but it had some parts. The engine is a Willys F-head 134. The windshield is incorrect. A few civilian and aftermarket parts here and there, including Dualmatic locking hubs. The electrical system is 12 Volt. It has the correct transmission, axles, combat wheels, and steering components. The speedometer still works, but needs replacement. The top is missing, as is a lot of body hardware. The body appears to be original (249010). The frame also appears to be original. The serial number is MB449103. All other data is missing. I'm planning on restoring the body and frame. The fuel tank and the sump was the worst of the rust. Some holes in the floor need patching too. The hood has been modified to fit the F-head engine. I haven't looked for numbers on the hood yet, but there are several layers of paint there.
