I obtained this Willys MB from the gentleman who purchased it from the government in 1968. It came with the M38 hardtop shown in the photo which was apparently installed by the US Government prior to being sold as surplus. The jeep was reported to be a former USMC jeep by the prior owner. After a little bit of investigation, I found USMC hood numbers under the hood paint. This MB restoration is complete with considerable assistance from Classic Military Automotive in Santa Rosa, CA. The finished jeep displays the hood numbers I found.
