GPW 164794

That Jeep was used in the family up to 1970 (farming, forest). Traces of 2 registrations in Belgium : from 1947 to 1954 and 1957 to 1961. I think that this damaged jeep came from a wreckage yard and was restored after WWII by a garage to make money. They tried to erase the frame serial number, to no avail (Dec. 1944 frame from Dallas). The jeep was very seldom used for farming and always stored in a dry garage, so well preserved. Engine GPW-6015 restarted OK after a 15 years idle period, a new battery and water pump. Deep Road Restoration during 10 years. Restoration finished on May 1st, 2014. Again on the road but with a slightly knocking engine ! Engine complete rebuild in 2016. New Belgian driving license /registration 2017 : O-ADK-363.She is rolling again !
