MB 200861

This Willy's MB was obtained in June 2000 from a guy that was moving to Virginia and, couldn't take it with him. I purchased this beautifully in great condition all matching number Willy's for roughy $3000. I have done some work to it but, largely it remains in the original configuration when I purchased it. After doing all of the research. "Frog" as its now so eloquently called...was delivered to the U.S. Army in and around the New Orleans area on January 7th, 1943 and, saw extensive use by the U.S. Army/ Army Air Corp. in the New Orleans area until December of 1944 when she was sent to the Higgins Corporation in New Orleans, LA. for refurbishment. This particular 1943 WILLY'S MB while it didn't see action overseas in Europe or the Pacific. It is however only, one of 170 Jeeps refurbished by the Higgin's Corporation in New Orleans during the year of 1944. In todays society, her new mission is relegated to living history events teaching the history of WWII and the Jeep to the viewing public, veterans affairs and numerous parades in the southeastern Georgia region.
