GPW 159645

I found it in a farm field in Atlanta GA. I paid 100 bucks for it. thinking that it was just a mixed and matched jeep i started to look for parts and do my research. Come to find out that it is a rare(only about 30,000 made) composite GPW that was made from late 43-Jan 44. All the serial numbers match, body, engine, and Frame. I am taking my time to reuse and rebuild all the existing parts instead of buying repro stuff to keep my matching numbers. I feel like i have found a real diamond in the rough...the real rough.
