MB 305366

Nice original MB that was part of Contract SM2275 and delivered new to the British in 1944. It carried hood number M5534783 and in 1949 was reassigned a new WD # 80 YH 08. It was assigned to the military attache at the Greek Embassy, rebuilt by the British in November, 1955 and then stricken from the record May 20, 1958. It was returned to the States shortly thereafter and purchased by George Hilton (Tuxedo Park, NY). Sold then to Gerry Bell in 1966, it was driven by Mr Bell for many years in the annual West Point Military Academy parade. Mr. Bell retired to North Carolina and it was sold to us in 2000. It has served as tow vehicle for a 1943 Stearman N2S-4 (primary trainer biplane). Second "motor pool" restoration started in November, 2007.
