Ford GPW 64158
I am told that this Ford GPW was bought in Norway and imported to Iceland in 1987. I understand that the US sent some supplies to Norway before and after the WWII but as Norway was invaded by the Germans on April 9 1940 this Jeep although produced in 1942 must have been used before it was sent to Norway. Is there anyone that knows if one can tell from the serialnumber and production date where each Ford GPW was delivered to. Is there anyone reading this that konows anything about Jeeps and Ford GPW beeing sent to Norway after the war?
