My Dad and four of his co-worker/friends purchased five MB's from Norway. At the time, my Dad was completing over 35 years of employment with Jeep Corporation and was nearing retirement.
The Jeep's all arrived in the U.S.A. in July 1986. All but this Jeep have since been sold. One of the Jeep's, serial 225833, was purchased by Chrysler Corporation, restored, and was residing in Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum in Michigan, however it does not appear to be there now. The serial numbers of the other MB's that were purchased at the same time are: 449823, 441846, and 438945. If you own any one of these four Jeeps please contact me.
All of the Jeep's were in good condition and able to be driven as is. This Jeep has not been modified, except for a new fuel pump and fuel tank, since its arrival in the United States.
