I bought this jeep in April from the third owner. This vehicle, according to the military sales records that came with it,as well as the Texas registration it is a 1942 GPW sold at Camp Hood, Texas 4/6/46. Most of the parts are GPW "F" script.The body and frame are in great shape as is the engine and tranny. Is has undergone a frame off restoration, and has been fitted with litter racks. It bears medical markings for the 36th Infantry Division / 111th Medical Battalion. The previous owner civianized it and used it as a daily driver. It lived in a Cotton Gin on his farm when not being driven.
