Restoration started (working on windscreen), plan on replacing the skin from seat opening to seat opening all around the back. This will be a get her functional and running and then as time and funds allow find and install the finer Ford details. 4/1/07 found hood number, 9/07 I have frame, brakes, tranny, transfer case and wheels and tires refurbished or replaced. Engine is repainted and reinstalled. 12/2007 bought body kit (tub not available until 1/2008) from Ron, have installed original grill, and two repop fenders. front end completely wired up and just waiting for tub to arrive. 5/24/2008 Left the driveway under its own power, 5/25/2008 dead battery!! left ignition switch on. Jeep assembled and fully operational. Jeep marked to 41st Inf Div 163rd Inf Reg, F company vehicle 2. 10/8/2008 first parade veterans day parade where I carried two WWII veterans, one of which is a 163 inf Veteran.
