This is our Ford GPW on the evening that we got her.
Since then iv stripped off layers of nasty flaky rust and manky paint...the plan is to just freshen her upfor this season and use and enjoy her. In september ill take her off the road and do a detail referbishment and rebuild.
I took the gearbox out to pop in a new clutch and discovered thet the gearbox was rattling and full of nasty grey thick sluge that was once oil. allsoseveral lumps of metal fell out the remains of a bearing. So heyho im about to undertake my first gearbox rebuild.
