I originally only intended on restoring my 43 MB (See 250790 del 19 Jul 43) but i gathered up so many GPW parts over the years i have now enough to do a GPW as well. The chassis is a February 1943 but the engine (that originally came in my MB) is from early December 42 and the tub, presently on my MB (As the MB one needs alot of work), is a repro Ford Script so i will make her represent a late script GPW. The hood is original GPW and came originally on my MB. It had USN registration numbers on it. Presently i have the chassis, diffs, T/case, drive and engine done on this restoration and am due to swap the tubs between jeeps over when i can. Will post photos on completion.
