The story goes,,,this Jeep went to the North Africa Campaign for it's fist mission, then from there to Anzio where it was blown up, either by land mine or artillery. It was in a museum in Italy until a few of years ago when a restorer from Colo. found it, bought it, had it shipped to Denver. He later became sick and sold his collection off from where I bought it in 2006. When I got the Jeep, it had only the frame and part of the body, windshield frame, and fenders...the pass side rear was blown away, many shell fragment holes were in the floor board. It has two bullet holes in the pass side near the floor, I left them! After 2 years in refurbishment by Russ Jones, Oh., it is as near new as you can find a Jeep. It was a chore finding all Ford parts, but they are there, except for one..still hunting. No...it's not for sale,,,don't even ask.
