Ford GPW 172265
Just found this database and thought it would be good idea to contribute. The jeep has been in our family since the mid 1960's. It had a body off restoration in the mid 1980's. The engine/brakes/transmission have just been totally rebuilt. I would say it is about 90% restored at this point. We've always thought it was a 1942 jeep but the frame number tells me otherwise. I think the glove box data plates are from a later jeep since the dates don't match the frame serial number? The engine is a MB.
