I found this jeep while delivering phone books in 1986. It was sitting in a field and the main leaf on both rear springs were broken. I bought it for $250. Now that I am retired from the army I can work on it. My goal is to have it comleted by fall of 2011. The data plates are soft, bend easily, maybe zinc? Body has a data plate stating it was rebuilt by Bechtel-McCone Corporation, Birmingham, Alabama, 4-13-45
