My MB,"Charlotte",is in fairly good shape. She has a repro tub of at least ten years vintage, four original combat rims, original speedo, temp and oil pressure gauges and original data plates. Her GPW engine is in good condition but needs a new rear main seal. Transmission and transfer are both quiet and she doesn't jump out of gear.
The chassis and all of the underneath parts appear to have been sandblasted and painted with black paint and undercoat.
I don't kinow much of her history. She was registered in Queensland as Q422561 for many years. A previous owner thinks she was first registered there in 1946 and, as she retained the Q numberplate until about 1999, was likely never out of registration. If anyone knows anything of this MB's history, please contact me.
