This 1943 Ford GPW came with a 1943 Willys MB-T as a package deal from a farmer in Toppenish, Washington. When I got the GPW it came with a late 1944 or early 1945 MB engine (which the original GPW block was replaced early in its life), but it still has its GPW transmission and GPW transfer case. When I purchased the GPW it came with a late 1920s or early 1930s Ford/Buick/Chevy (wasn't sure what year it was) hardtop that I immediately took-off and sold on Craigslist. The tub is a total loss and is in very bad shape but will be a great template for another rebuildable GPW tub. The original tub had all the important holes welded up unfortunately and there were large rust holes everywhere. So it will have to be cut up and scrapped. There was no backseat, but overall the GPW came with alot of original parts. Thankfully, the GPW still had the original data plate on the glovebox door. The whole GPW was somewhat painted silver, but for the most part you could still see some the original OD paint and the original serial numbers on the hood in blue drab paint. Currently, will be painting the frame then sandblasting, priming and painting the differentials.
