Former Italian Police jeep, used in Gorizia in 1948-56 as Polizia 4922. Sold off in 1959 and civil-registered in 1962. Restored around 1985 by Alberto Rosso. I bought it from him 29 years later with USA Number 20377048, which he had obtained by adding a 20-prefix to the frame number. The jeep was serviced and repaired as necessary over winter 2014-15. A more accurate number (20638817) was estimated with assistance from John Farley in the UK and applied. Two years later, the discovery of two other jeeps with the same number led to a change to 20638917. The jeep took part in the 2017 Column of Liberty and the San Miniato Liberation rally.
