Just bought my first Jeep. Long term USA owner, unrestored and mostly original as it left service. 2 to 3 coats of army paint on it, blue and then white hood numbers showing, 1945 service plates also on body and motor. I love it and will NOT restore it, just need to add some metalwork to tub, and service mechanicals. I would like to know more of its history....last owner in Ca USA had it for more than 50 years...it has obviously been a farm tractor years ago !! but surprisingly left original and unmolested, still had army issue pineapple Jam tins in glove box, first aid kit and army issue oil in tool boxes. I will ad pics when i work out how...also engine number and body number later
