vehicle was about 80% complete, and has a census plate attached M.V. field spec.no1027 and census no 6010.this I believe shows that this vehicle also served with the Australian services. i have obtained info from the Australian War Memorial records, serial number 228978, (ARN)Aust Reg Number 161921, USA hood number USA 20587192,engine number 37083(I believe attached code ,G54/22/58, means military engine change over in 1958),Disposal records reads(w/o BofS N13 TAS bound ORD Coy B94/7/1448 8/3/1960) I believe this means: Written off Board of Survey N13 Tasmania Command File Number B94/7/1434. carried until 8th march 1960. the vehicle was a barn find with last rego sticker found on window 1967. So about 7 years out of military service and then used on farm or stored in shed till recovered. Any other info anyone may be able to help with would be much approached. harry
