Yes the tyres used are not the originals! If you want to climb our slippery hills round home the Bar treads have to go... sorry to the purist but they're in the shed. Federal 30x9.5x15 muddies, the best for traction of any small tyre we have on the market here. Paint is as per Aust. military camo spec. Other than that it's original running gear. I've added a heater that is fed by the original fan. It has a bad reputation of bring the storm clouds around when trips are planned, it hasn't had a dry one in five years! The name Halfa' Banjo comes from my brother, a banjo player, he has Grundy Banjo's and I reckon this jeep "sounds just as good at half the price!" hence the name. The bonnet number is my grand fathers enlistment number, they're on there for my dad. I an asked do I use it much often. Well, yes, and to those whom own one and haven't packed a swag and travelled the country and put that windscreen on the bonnet well, you really don't know what your missing out on, get Out There and use it... "4x4 the love of Old jeeps" regards Jacko
